Instagram access has been restored for a few Indian Pakistani celebrities.

All prominent Pakistani figures' Instagram profiles were geoblocked in India by the Indian authorities following Operation Sindoor. Fans have noticed that numerous Pakistani actors' accounts, including well-known ones like Mawra Hocane, have resurfaced in India two months after the incident. This has sparked rumors that their social media "ban" is lifting.

Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir are still prohibited on Instagram, however Mawra Hocane's account is once again accessible in India.

Has the ban ended?

From India, one can now view the Instagram accounts of Pakistani actors Yumna Zaidi, Ahad Raza Mir, Danish Taimoor, and Mawra Hocane. In India, all of these actors' Instagram accounts were blocked for posting remarks about the Pahalgam terrorist incident and Operation Sindoor. However, Indian fans can now view their accounts as of July 2. Many followers questioned whether the restriction had been lifted when screenshots showing the accounts were available in India were posted on social media. "Why goverment abolished ban?" one person said. Others asserted that it makes no difference because these were Pakistan's "B-list" celebrities. "Not necessary! To be honest, I have no idea who these artists are. I have never seen any dramas, films, or television programs from that nation! One said, "Never followed anyone."
