Reuters, Washington, June 19 California's Democratic governor is pursuing a lawsuit against the Republican president for using the state's National Guard to suppress protests in Los Angeles, but a U.S. appeals court allowed Trump to keep control of the force Thursday.
Trump's move to deploy troops into Los Angeles heightened political tension in the nation's second-most populated city and sparked a national discussion about the use of the military on American soil.
