There is no chance to deflect attention with falsehoods: Amir Khosru
According to Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, it is not a good idea to politicize situations like rape without first learning the truth.
"To capitalize on the impending elections and to surpass their own electoral threshold, it is unfortunate that attempts are being made to politicize such situations without finding a solution," he stated. In this sense, the administration ought to take the initiative more.
"There is no possibility to divert people's attention through misinformation," Amir Khosru added. There will be little gain for those who are attempting this.
He made this statement in response to inquiries from reporters during a Sunday afternoon meeting with the Canadian High Commissioner at the Gulshan Chairperson's office.
"Everyone concerned is preparing to organize the polls in February," Amir Khosru remarked in reference to the elections. There is no indication that the elections will not take place. Although there will be conflicts, everything must proceed.
