Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer for the northern area of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has inquired as to how many operations had been conducted in the past nine months to apprehend the Bangladesh Awami League's goons and murderers.
He brought up this issue by drawing comparisons to the alarm expressed over the "small fire" that occurred at the home of Jatiya Party (JaPa) head GM Quader in Rangpur.
"The Bangladesh Army is still highly respected by us. But we also want to see them take a strong stand and take action against fascism," he said.
On Sunday night, Sarjis Alam posted these comments on his verified Facebook page.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, army forces addressed Imtiaz Ahmed, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement's Rangpur town unit convenor, and Imran Ahmed, its district unit convener, in Payra Square in Rangpur town regarding the attack and vandalism of GM Quader's home in the town.
Around 1:30 am, Sarjis Alam arrived at the location after learning of the news. Around 2:00 am, he departed the area with the two leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement after chatting with army officials.
