All preparations taken to ensure security during polls: Home adviser
Lieutenant General (Retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, the home affairs adviser, stated today that all necessary preparations have already been made by the law enforcement forces to guarantee security during the elections.
After touring the RAB-1 headquarters in the Uttara neighborhood of the city, he commented, "We have already done all measures necessary to maintain security during the elections," in response to a query.
In response to another query, the home adviser stated that throughout the previous 11 months, there has been an improvement in the nation's law and order.
The home adviser urged reporters not to broadcast or print incomplete news because this could allow foreigners to misrepresent it.
